Will my information remain confidential?

Your information is protected not only by our policies, but also by HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act) and Federal Law CFR 42 Part 2, which pertains specifically to clients seeking treatment for substance use.


What is the average length of stay at Sagebrush residential?

The length of your stay will vary, based on your particular situation. Most clients stay a minimum of 30 days in order to provide enough time to achieve a strong foothold in sobriety. We encourage clients to stay in residential treatment as long as needed in order to give them the best chance for a lifetime of recovery.


Do you offer detox?

We have many holistic methods to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal. Herbal preparations, teas, saunas, massage therapy, and acupuncture will benefit many clients. Additionally, if warranted, our Medical Director will prescribe and monitor medications while you are in treatment. Certain situations and substances may require medically monitored detox. During the initial assessment process, if it is determined that you would benefit from medically monitored detox, our Admissions Coordinator will facilitate your admission to detox. After you are cleared medically, you will head directly to treatment at Sagebrush.


Do clients have private rooms?

At our co-ed residential treatment center, each client has a private bedroom, queen size bed, a spacious closet, and a private bathroom. At our gender-specific treatment centers, all clients have queen beds, there are some private bedrooms at each house and some shared bedrooms and bathrooms. If there is a way we can make your stay more comfortable, please let us know. We are happy to help.


How many clients are at Sagebrush?

We accept up to eight clients in residential treatment at one time. Sagebrush offers highly individualized care and programming. Our primary therapists work with three to four clients at a time so you will receive plenty of individual time with your therapist to address the specific issues that have contributed to your addiction.


Do you accept insurance?

We are in-network with BC/BS and Aetna. Sagebrush accepts many other private insurance plans as well including Optum, Cigna and United. We would be happy to assist you with determining eligibility and benefits. Please call us at 888-406-7444.


Can I bring my cell phone and laptop or electronics?

Access to a phone and computer is available if needed. We ask that you leave your personal computers and cell phones at home, so that you can more fully focus on your own health and recovery.


When can I use the phone?

We have designated telephone times every other day. Calls that must be made outside of these designated times require prior approval from your primary therapist.


Am I able to smoke on the premises?

Smoking and/or vaping are allowed outdoors only, at designated times throughout the day. We ask that clients arrive with a 30-day supply of tobacco/vapor products, because Sagebrush will not transport clients to purchase these products. Tobacco products and bottles of vape juice must arrive at the facility unopened. For clients who are interested in smoking cessation, Sagebrush offers a variety of therapies. If your goal is to be nicotine free, please speak with your treatment team. We are happy to support you in this goal.


Are there visitation hours?

Visitation occurs on Sunday. We ask our visitors not to bring any books, food, gifts or other items to the client unless we approve of them.


Are you an animal-friendly facility?

Please feel free to bring pictures of your pet and tell us all about them! We know how therapeutic animals can be and we at Sagebrush are all animal lovers ourselves. Unfortunately, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home.


Why should I stay at Sagebrush? Can’t I live at home and come in each day for therapy?

Yes. We offer a full range of programs, from outpatient to inpatient. Our team will help you determine what your best option for care is. We offer an immersion and intensive program that keeps you focused on your own recovery. Giving yourself this time free from distractions and other obligations will pay tremendous dividends in terms of relationships mended, self-esteem restored and careers enhanced.


Can Sagebrush accommodate special dietary needs?

Yes. Sagebrush’s executive chef can provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other special dietary requirements for our clients. Please discuss your needs with us when making arrangements for admission.
